good neighbors

Last night we went for a little walk around the neighborhood after daddy got home from work. And we of course brought along "boo boo bee bee" (Pearce's doll in stroller). Well I guess, the baby doll's bib fell off during some point, because we found cute little individually hand drawn signs stapled to 4 trees right outside our house. When I saw the sign from inside looking out our window, I thought, wow that looks alot like Pearce's baby doll bib! Then went outside to read it, and sure enough we have nice neighbors!
So we were on a mission this morning, to go find the bib! The sign had an address and phone number, so we decided to go find the address and knock on the door...

Out for a walk... and always getting sidetracked. Whenever she sees dandelion, she picks it and blows it. Or shakes it until all the flowers blow off.
Jess, don't you think she looks like Jane below?? She whips that stroller around everywhere...good thing it's not a real baby in there.
Found the house. Pearce was excited to walk up and knock on the door.
I love this photo below. Sooo cute!!!
Well, kind of anti-climatic, because nobody was home. But I told Pearce we'd come back in the afternoon, and hopefully they'd be home from school by then.

But still needed to carryon our walk of course. There's no way Pearce was just gonna turn around and go home!
She's big into "balance beams" lately. Ever since last week when we went to "The Little Gym" as a guest with her neighbor friend, Miyo. She went from being kind of a scaredy cat, to climbing on everything and doing summersaults all the time. Now whenever we see curbs, she has to do the balance beam. She use to want to hold my hand, but now she is getting brave.
And I have no idea where she is getting her poses from. :-)
 TA-DA!!!

What a sweet little act of kindness from your neighbors! I love the pictures of the walk through the neighborhood. Pearce is so cute in all of them! Gotta leave for work but will be back to read your other post on the Supercross! :)

Great neighbors -- and how fun to document this story! The pics are perfect and Pearce is looking so grown up and independent. A little lady!

aaaah it looks like you live in such a pretty part of town! I love the big mature trees, etc. Reminds me of our old Seattle rental house. I miss it. You always capture the cutest poses of her--she cracks me up! I just love reading about her and her cuteness. She reminds me so much of Ruby. Today as we dropped Max off at preschool, she had to balance on the little bumper things in front of parking spaces as we were walking him inside. He was getting frustrated it was taking so long, haha.
